Laurian Douin is a Partner at Proprium Capital Partners, where he leads new investments in Europe and oversees the management of existing investments, with a particular focus on non-French investments of the BCPERE I portfolio.

Prior to joining Proprium in 2026, Laurian worked at BC Partners as a Partner in the Real Estate team based in London from 2018. Before joining BC Partners, Laurian was Managing Director at Altarea Cogedim, a French listed multi-format real estate and property development company. During this time, he was a member of the Group Executive Committee and was CEO of AltaFund, a €650 million private equity real estate fund sponsored by Altarea Cogedim.

Prior to this, he was Head of Altarea Cogedim Group Corporate Finance from 2006, where he was responsible for corporate development, international expansion, and group financing.

Laurian has also held roles at PwC Real Estate Corporate Finance and Andersen Real Estate Corporate Finance.

Laurian holds an MA in Management from EDHEC and an MSc with a major in Finance from EDHEC. He is fluent in French and English.
