Vice Chairman

Stéphane Theuriau is Vice Chairman of Proprium Capital Partners, a role he has held since April 2026.

In 2018, Stéphane launched the BC Partners Real Estate Fund, a discretionary €750 million European value-add vehicle, where he remained a Partner and Head of the firm's real estate business until 2026.

Prior to this, Stéphane was Group CEO of Altarea Cogedim, where he oversaw significant growth, with the market capitalisation of the business increasing from €1 billion to €3 billion during his tenure, and led the successful launch and investment of AltaFund in 2011, a €650 million private equity real estate fund sponsored by Altarea Cogedim.

Earlier, he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he led the French and then European Real Estate Investing business.

Stéphane holds an MA in Business Administration from EM Lyon Business School and is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
